Alicia Vernell Rivera is a recent graduate of Harvard College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a concentration in Religion. Her academic work focuses on understanding how Biblical composition, language, and cognitive metaphor theory influence interpretation and how elements of the text itself can serve as hermeneutical constructs.

At Harvard, Alicia was the Chief Marketing Officer of the Harvard Women’s Rugby team, of which she was a part, and helped manage their social media and community engagement. Alicia is passionate about mentorship and education and was a student leader of the Peer Advising Fellows Program at Harvard and previously directed the H.E.A.R.T. Program for children in New York City.
